A busser’s primary role is to help maintain restaurant operations by setting and clearing tables while maintaining a high level of cleanliness in the dining area. Bussers may provide support to both bar and wait staff by running food during meal service. In addition, bussers also provide customer service to guests by filling water glasses and coffee at the table, supplying new utensils as needed or requested, and providing answers to customer questions.

Your responsibilities include serving plates, platters, glasses, and silverware, refilling beverages, and bussing tables. Prepare dining areas prior to guests being seated
Set table’s with fresh linens, napkins, and table settings
Place silverware and condiments on tables
Serve water and bread to guests
Refill beverages and listen attentively to orders
Remove dirty utensils and replenish when necessary
Clean and reset tables when guests leave
Maintain health and safety regulations at all kitchen and dining areas
